best muffler
What is the best muffler to run on a diesel. I have a 4 inch straight pipe on it now but it is just to loud. The problem im having is i dont want to restrict the engine and hurt the performance any but i dont want all the noise either.
I have thought about putting a y pipe and running duels out the back and putting mufflers on both sides of the duels . would this work or would it be overkill???

I thought about a hush power but dont know how quiet they are. I want it as quiet as possible without losing any performance?

well anything with a straight flow is only gonna quiet your sound and not back anything up. i would say the BTM if you don't mind losing a half inch. you might could get if fabbed to where it is a 4". just cut a hole in it and add a 4" in and out

you can get Walker BTM in 4" they are just a little more expensive. I was lookin on ebay i had thought about putting a muffler on mine and they have some that are straight thru flow and very short like 12" which i liked because it wouldnt take alot of room. But i dont think they were super quiet.
