i have the ts, and run it on the 80hp except for when im fogging tailgaters.
the ts does a pretty good job with the 80hp setting, trans shifts smooth. drives alot better than the stock setup.
dont know about the other one though.

From what I have heard both are great chips, TS $/bhp is unreal. I also hear that DP is better for bigger injectors, turbo, big oil and other high end mods. To be honest can't go wrong either!

Look at swamps diesel performance. Its a TS chip but it has swamps custom programs. Ive owned a few chips and this is by far the best one yet. Awesome power on the tow mode and the 140HP mode is just rediculious,I also love theway the trans settings are setup.I would rate Swamps and Dp tuning at some of the best chips out there for diesels, and hell all they specialize in is the 7.3 and 6.0. They are way ahead of all your name brand crap like superchips and such.

If I had to choose between ts or dp I would choose dp hands down. I would bet that dp would make more safe power on a stock truck or modified truck than the ts would for the simple fact that the dp is specific to the individual truck. All that being said I would go for a TWildman chip, totaldieselperformance.com

TS all the way, I can set it to 50hp and still get 17mpg. If I want to blow some smoke crank that Bi*** up and rock on. Also, high idle mode and let it warm up. Easy install, great performance. I love my ts chip. Also Swamps Diesel are a great bunch of guys.

Dp

I have a DP- see sig. I can get around 17-20 mpg on the 80econo setting and lots of white smoke on the 120 setting. When I ordered the chip I talked to THE programmer- Jody, and he took into account what I expected out of the chip and any mods. He can set you up wild to mild, high idle, no start, minimal smoke or "where's the fire?"
I have no personal experience with the TS. From what I have heard, they are also an excellent chip. Good luck!
