A little reroute of the MAP sensor tubing...
I have heard this from a few different sources, that by moving the Map line to the hot side of the IC you will gain a bit in throttle response... I thought it made perfect since, I build boost faster on that side as well as higher numbers. So last night I rerouted it over there.
Just some quick drives from the hotel to the jobsite. It works! Might try it out if you have the ability... My only concern is how well the MAP sensor will take to the 300-400 degree air temps that might get seen there... |

I dont know, but I cant see where it would hurt. Your going to show boost faster on the hot side then the cold side, as well as higher boost numbers. It will allow the PCM to bring fuel in quicker... |

??My '97 has no form of charged air cooling and swings 40-45+ psi regularly You should get a MAP sensor cooler maybe?-Michael |
