West Coast Diesel Performance

I was looking for a diesel shop that did both repair and upgrades in my area of the Inland Empire, Southern California. Using a search engine I came up with West Coast Diesel Performance located in Lake Elsinore which is very close to where I live. I then came to this diesel forum and other diesel forums and used the forum's search engine to find any info, good or bad on West Coast Diesel Performance. None could be found, it is a new business. I scheduled an appointment with Todd for some repair work and the Bank's PowerPack system. He tried hard to talk me out of the Banks system but I insisted. On Jan 2 I showed up for my appointment and had to wait 2 hours before anyone even showed up at the shop, past 10:00 AM. It took another hour of Todd catching up on phone messages before he could talk to me. He then gave me a ride home in my truck and returned to the shop. After 11 days I called for only the second time to ask about the truck. No work had been performed and he told me the PowerPack was on back order. I called Gale Banks to find out that there is no back order. I now have a date with Gale Banks next Wednesday but am still annoyed that my work truck was down for almost 2 weeks with no work done. This has cost me a lot of money in lost earnings and I feel the need to share so others don't have the same problem. Had my post been available to me when I did a search, I would have saved a lot of time and money by not even going to West Coast Diesel Performance in the first place. That is why these forums are so important to the consumer.
