I've got the DP chip in mine, and I love it. Used to have the SCT, It woke the truck up real nice, but the DP was just a world of a differance even from the SCT.On 140 it blows a nice cloud out of both sides, and I don't have the smoke tune. Hope that helps.---Gord

DP-Tuner with 140 "smoke" agressive tune=The car beside you can't see or breath and someone is calling the fire department because it must be on fire from all of the smoke surrounding it........kinda fun for use on those annoying aggressive drivers that get a little close.

I have the superchips and I think it rocks compared to stock, but thats the only thing I can compare it too is stock. If your going to go with a chip keep your tuner so you can read codes and clear them if you get any. Seems everone likes Dp or Sct or Ts so I may get the bug to upgrade at some point

The differance from the SCT to the DP was like the differance from stock to the SCT. Take the plunge, you'll be plesantly surprised,I sure was.

well i think i am goin to go with dp tuner i have hear a lot of good things about them i think it is worth the extra money compared to ts but you pay for wat you get but out of curiosity wat is differance from the 80 hp lite tow settign to the 80 hp economy setting obviously hp is the same but is the torque differant or they just have two differant settings and same for 140 smoke and 140 performance wat is the differance and this is on the dp tuner by the way thanks

I have the 80 economy, and I speculate that the main difference between it and the 80 light tow settings would be transmission shift related, but I'm not sure. The difference between the 140 performance, and the 140 "smoke" aka aggressive setting is the amount of fuel applied at tip in. The smoke setting really dumps the fuel in before the engine can really use it, and thus it creates a lot of smoke. I'm sure the 140 performance setting will smoke as well, just not as much.
