Gauge Question
This may be a stupid question but I'm new to the diesel performance scene. I just finished installing A pillar gauges. The EGT gauge fluxuates from 200 up to 1000 degrees while driving and I'm hitting 12-13 on the bosst gauge. Does this sound right. Also I am assuming putting on an intake will increase the boost. I very rarely drive in dusty conditions and pretty much drive around town and on the highway towing a boat and or snowmobiles. So my next question is can I put on a Tymar intake instead of the Donaldson.

I put an Autometer boost gauge in my truck yesterday. Getting into it, it maxs out at about 18#s.
