Angry Down pipe install help

I'm tring to install a MBRP 4" turbo back system on my 2002 F250 and cannot get the down pipe through the opening. MBRP is closed and I see, on their web site that some other folks have had a problem but the install instructions don't mention any help for this. I tried for 3 hours with no luck. I also see that on the 6.0 that it's harder with the 6 speed, I have the 6 speed but being a 2002 it's a 7.3 Any help or advice would be appriciated.

I wish I could help, but I've only done it on a few OBS's. I havn't tried it on a SD, yet. I have found that jacking up the left side of the motor helped with mine. Don't know if it will help or not.

I have an 02 also. I used mbrp and the pipe went in with no problem. Thats not what you wanted to hear, I know, but I want to help in some way. I did mine in an hour with the help of my father in law. He held the down pipe up so I could attach the clamp. I know you have to turn the bend in the pipe so it will "work" into the space, but once in mine fit like a glove with room to spare.

I'm going to go give it another try. Will try jacking up the side to try to increase the clearence. I tried putting it in with the tail facing forward but there isn't enough clearance for it to turn once there, it hits the block.

Just like Sea71 said, you have to WORK that sucker in there. Mine was a total PITA! I thought I was doing something wrong for about 2 hrs and was ticked b/c I was unable to reverse my install b/c I had cut the stock exhaust in 3 places. Just keep at it and twist the poo outta that DP. You'll get it in there!!!!

I finally got the down pipe through I jacked up the passenger side of the truck and it made it worse so I jacked up the drivers side and it almost made it so with a little excessive force it made it. Thanks for all the help.

I had to read that like 5 times to get it. I was thinking, "Why TF is he talking about a working girl in a DownPipe thread?" then I got it.
