Blow off valve!!!!!!!!!

i was told they didn't make blow off valve's for the 7.3L but i found one...

BD Performance Turbo Guard Blow-Off Valve - JEGS

It's not really needed IMO, as we don't have throttle bodies with plates/butterflies for one reason.

Diesel motors dont natrually produce manifold vacuum either.. so the air pressure just finds the fastest way out when you let off the skinny pedal. Atleast I think...

Asside from just an noise, it doesn't really do anything to help.

Jegs claims it works for the 7.3l, and Im sure you can mount it, but you wont find it on BDs website. I've never been asked for one of these for any diesel truck. We sell other brands for import cars all the time. I would call BD and ask them before you purchase this product. That part number is for a Dmax, and Jegs wants too much for it anyway. No part number for a Ford specific application.

It would be pointless to put it on an automatic. The reason for a BOV is to keep the turbo spooled at max boost between shifts. When you slam the TB shut to push the clutch in, the boost is let out via the BOV.

LOL, with an auto you just keep your foot to the floor.
