Don't waste your money because you'll be moving on from the 10k when you want more power.

Just go to the local radio shack, find the "resistors" and buy a pack of 5 for 1 buck.

Take the top off your ICP sensor, insert one end just till it connects the wire on the RED/GRAY wire and the other on the BLUE/GREEN wire. Never let the ends touch each other or connect. Just plug the sensor top back on and that's worked for me. I hate how it makes my truck idle (rough) but it sure does smoke

Claimed to give you 30hp/100tq but the seat of the pants dyno says no. My truck doesn't feel any faster it's just a bit snappier off idle (in traffic) so it helps w/ driveability rather then power adder imo.

Anyways hope this helps...

Also, they recommend gauges for this mod.

I have been WOT for 20 seconds on the free way and got up to 1,000 degree's. Thats 250 degrees less then when you need to back out of it. I'd still have a gauge for peace of mind.

Also, the lower the resistor the more it is... 3.9k is going to make your truck idle rougher but will increase the off the line throttle response. An 18k will give you almost NO difference. The 3.9k Smokes like crazy

Once again, I hate how it idles...

I have the 18k defuser thing, and belive it or not you can be running 60mph and have the knob turned all the way down, then turn it up and you can fell and hear the engine pick up speed. Plus the idle does not change. I have also done the resister thing and I felt the same way you do about it. It was alot snappier of the line then the Defuser product, but lacked topend, where the defuser was better than stock throttle response, but also had topend.

Just a little food for thought, I don't understand it

I have the Dfuser also. I originally did a homemade 18K mod, but like others were saying, the idle sucks. The idle is perfect at all settings on the Dfuser. I figured for $45 bucks, it works well, until I get my DP Tuner. I turned mine all the way up and mashed the throttle. Seat of the pants perfromance change and some nice smoke. Just my
