Ts 6 Chip Question. .

Hi guys...

I got an opportunity to get a second ts 6 chip but it came of a 2002 7.3 auto....would it be compatible with my 2001 7.3 auto or are the pcm different? .....Supposedly it only has 4 tunes on it since it was custom tuned...Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks!

I would get the PCM code from both pcm's and post them up to make sure they are comparable.

It will not work... Two completely different PCM's. Not codes, but physical PCM families

What he said...a while back I sent a chip off for a reburn and it came back with the wrong pcm code. The truck would crank up and run but would shut off anytime you changed tunes going down the road.....not fun to say the least.

That's the huge advantage of the Hydra chip. Not having to send it out for a reburn.

If I get the chip could you re burn everything Corey with power stuck tunes?

If I gave you my pcm for my truck would that be enough to re burn the chip so it functions properly without issue?
