Arrow KC Turbos GTP-38 KC-66 TESTERS NEEDED

KC Turbos has been looking into the 7.3 market and trying to offer something a little different and still cost effective. A lot of the complaints/comments that we saw were that the gtp-38r was too expensive and that some of the other turbos on the market spooled up too slow.

We have had many people ask if we were going to make anything for the 7.3.... well the time has come and we have been researching different options and we are now in the testing phase of a couple of different options.

Target market: This is not planned to be a big 600hp turbo. It is planned for guys with stock - stage 2 injectors that are looking for a good little bump over stock without losing too much bottom end performance.

A lot of the specs are still to be decided but here are the basics:

100% brand new (no cores)
Compreessor: 66x93 billet wheel
Turbine: 76x68 upgraded high flow design
4" compressor inlet
Upgraded journal bearings
Wastegated turbine housing
Available with and without epbv

Still trying to decide what turbine a/r, single vs dual plane wheels, and a few other details.

TESTER INFO:

We are hoping to get a few testers here on powerstroke.org to help us gather some data. The idea would be to give you a good discount on purchasing the turbo. In return we would need some data and feedback from you. We will 100% stand behind the turbo and make sure you are well taken care of... but this is NOT a free turbo give away. Here is what we are looking for.

REQUIREMENTS:
Looking to upgrade from a stock charger
Wants to lower WOT egts
Tows heavy loads
Runs a race tune and runs their truck hard
Has gauges (egt, boost, etc)
Works on his own truck
Interested in some R&D


We are not looking for someone who just blew up their turbo and wants a good discount on a replacement. For the testing we need someone willing to gather data and give feedback. Also it is possible that a tester might have to try more than one turbo variation if their are any issues (thats why we want guys that work on their own trucks).

It's between this and a DIY 66 at this point

It's very cool of you guys at KC to be getting into to 7.3 market. I've seen positive things from you over in the 6.0 sections, even though I'm not over there much.

Blue99stroker is going to upgrade his injectors soon. He would be a great candidate for this as a tester with stock and then 160/80 injectors.

PIS 175/80's, Van Turbo with EBPV, BD Billet Wheel
Lots of money spent at RiffRaff
Holley fuel pump, in tank mods, crappy riding leveling kit, DP-F6, 5 Gauges+Edge CS in dash, CB radio in Dash, over 100 goofy little mods
Still pretty slow, just less slow now.
