Just looking for advice

Well I have a ts chip and have been getting the run around about tunes for my excursion. I won't go into detail and such but its been many months and still no go, not nothing, been running without the chip more or less since february. So i have been looking into a hydra chip. Is it worth the money? I've been emailing corey at cnc performance, and he has answered all my dumb questions, and he has been swaying me in that direction. I really have been liking the options and tuning capabilities of the hydra. All I really need is a few of you guys to sign off on this and there will be a hydra in my truck in a couple weeks…..

I love my hydra. It's convenient. No reburn waits. Holds 15 tunes. It's way better than my old banks chip.

I bought my hydra through Alligator and like it so far. I don't have many canned tune choices(cali truck). I wish I would've paid extra up front for the Wildman or Powerstruck tunes preloaded.

hydra tunes for apx1

This is from jay to me about the hydra. I had a problem with not having all the available tunes for my PCM so they went back in and updated the tunes for me. Great people. I thought it was awesome they went back in and fixed them for me.

PHP Hydra all the way! No boost fooler, easy install and never have to take It out and it holds 17 tunes if you include stock and no start that always come with it. Best $400 I've ever spent on the truck

Send your TS to Powerstruck and let him reburn it for you , he did an extra chip for me for cheaper than I've heard anyone else doing reburns. If you have money to throw at another.chip and want to start buying everyone's tunes than get a Hydra.
Had DI on my truck for awhile and had it reburned , Will leave it at that.
There's a handful of tuners to choose from who can reburn for WAY , WAY , WAY less than the cost of a Hydra and PHP happens to be one as well as Gearhead , and Powerstruck and a few others. If you have a chip you don't use and are driving around stock I seriously doubt you really need six positions much less 17. You also probably won't mind being without it for a week and a half should you need to mail it back for finessing vs spending the extra money to get them emailed.
Pick a tuner and enjoy the 2 or 3 settings that your truck will spend 99.9% of its time in.

Powerstruck contacted me about a chip I had for sale in regards to buying it , I asked if he could burn it which he offered to do. He also said if I didn't like the tuning to send it back and he'd refund my money and still buy the chip. Been with 5 vendors and his CS and tunes are top notch.

no feedback yet but I got my hydra in yesterday...along with new injectors Corey at CNC hooked me up with Powerstruck's injectors and they came with free tunes at the time I ordered (idk if that's over or not) but I didn't have anything for Justin to burn them on so Hydra it was
