Question for PHP Hydra users.

Got it installed on my truck this morning. Playing with the tunes, how long does it take for the tunes to "change" do you need to turn truck off than back on? It appears sitting in my driveway there is no difference at idle in "lope tune" and "Whisper" but I just toggled back and forth without starting it again.

Thank you!

I will say install was super easy. Once I figured out the whole hex code thing it took all of 20 minutes to install. Once thing I will say is remove the ECU bolt and harness with your right hand... will make life much easier

It only takes a couple seconds for the tunes to change. Mine slightly flashes or dims between tunes. You can switch between all of php tunes with the truck running.

If you get tunes from someone else, you will have to shut the truck off and restart in that tune. If You change from php tune to another tune, ( like beans, tony wildman) without shutting the truck off, it will stumble or die. At least that's what mine does.

Takes about 1 second for the tunes to change. There has to be a delay so it doesn't try and change tunes while your are cycling through.

And no its on the fly, you just change the tune whenever you want. Just not a good idea while accelerating.

Thanks Guys. I am using the Php stock tunes. Just drove truck and WOW was that the best $375 I have ever spent or what! The lope idle tune simple does not appear to do anything but ow well... the 80hp tune make the truck feel like a whole new machine!!

Cant wait to try out the towing tunes on Friday

You'll be impressed. 65 tow tune is the one I use most with similar weights to what you'll be towing.

I also just installed my Hydra chip. Love the power output. Huge difference.

Having some torque converter problems though. It also seems like my idle is higher than normal when in drive. Also sometimes wont come out of the high idle tune without shutting the truck off.
