Favorite php tunes

I have been playing around with the hydra. Just switched my ECU from XLE4 to a NVK3, I love the fact that there is more tunes to choose from. Just wondering what peoples favorite tunes are? Also just noticed there is a tune called fuel sipper, is that for fuel econ?

I loved the 65 and 80HP daily driver's, and yes the sipper is for fuel economy. But I no longer have a 7.3L mine was totaled over the weekend.

The one thing I don't like that much is in the 80dd it up shifts to fast. I just loaded the 80 performance and will see how it does.

Just got my Hydra installed on the weekend, and WOW! I haven't had much time to drive it, but am very happy. Tried the 65 HP fuel sipper and it seems to be working. Even on the fuel sipper tune the power was much better, more boost pressure at ligher throttle settings and smooth crisp shifts - no slipping, no hard shifts. Seems to lock up the torque converter sooner. I can hardly wait to try the rest of the tunes. Much more fun to drive now.

So what ECU do you have? Are you running the tunes for the pmt ECU? That's what I am running, it said they were the preferred ones. Also I don't know if in the dd tunes if I like the down shifting from overdrive to 3rd.

I am away from home on business so I cannot confirm any of this, but if I remember correctly, it is a NVK2 PCM and I am using the preferred tunes. Haven't tried the daily driver yet.

So I just drove the truck with the 80 performance and I like the way it shifts a lot better. The fuel sipper shifting seems to be more like the daily tunes.
