tony wildman shift points

I just got my php hydra chip with tw tunes on it. I have stock, hi idle, tow, daily, street, and extreme. In all of the tunes except stock it won't shift into over drive until 50 mph or more even under light throttle is this normal?

Sounds like you have the tow in all the positions.

I can tell the difference between the positions. The street position seems to have the most power even more than the extreme it also smokes more, and shifts allot harder.

Not shifting into OD till 50mph is pretty typical. Call Tony and ask or PM him on here. His username is Twildman

I wish I knew this before I ordered. Maybe he can email me some different tunes if I can figure out how to use the hydra flash software. Does anyone else have this problem with tw tunes?

I loaded 3 of the php tunes from the hydra software. The 80 daily tune is the only one i have tried so far it shifts into OD at around 40-45 mph. So far I like the php daily tune better than the tw daily tune.

Try the PHP tow tunes, you will be impressed. I have 1 TW tow tune and it also shifts at 50 but it is a HEAVY TOW tune and it works rather well only when towing heavy but that is what I wanted. My PHP tow is what I use most often and shift points and power are great. In my PHP daily driver it has plenty of power but upshifts to fast if driving in traffic
