anybody have a working thread or links. All the ones I have found go to dead links including the tech files one.

you just cut some of the bracket out right in front of the snorkel for the intake.

take the grill off to do this.

It's harder to take the grill out then to do the mod. I used a sawzall and cut off wheel.
It's stupid it's not open from the factory. My 95 is open there.

Yea pretty easy to do just cutting a hole, I went a little farther and added a little screen thing I built so nothing gets in....

I added a screen on as well since I made the hole the same size as the intake. Didn't want birds and bugs getting in there

I cut the 4in hole and put a tube from the grille

I've got to much crap in front so I've gone with a snorkle , vents into the side of the engine bay, and no it doesn't restrict you vision well no more than a triple gauge pod , but remember I'm wheelin from the other side, seems to direct plenty of cold air in.
