7.3 SCT Livewire

Hey guys my names Beau and I'm going to look at my first psd today. If I can work out a deal with the guy ill be coming home with it, cross your fingers. Its already got a SCT livewire tuner with it and I was wondering if I should keep that or get a 6ps chip and have someone load some custom tunes on it then sell the live wire to someone with a 6.0 or 6.4 who can get better use out of it.

Thanks

With custom tunes, the Livewire works fine. Just can't switch tunes on the fly. I've had both and there wasn't much difference. I tow 3 days a week and wanted to switch between tunes easier. If not for that, I'd still be running the custom tunes on the Livewire.

well I ended up getting the truck and I really think im gonna get a 6ps switch and some actual gauges. The Sct just really isn't doing it for me and I don't like how big it is. I think its the older livewire because it just has the blue colored screen. Anyone interested in it? It also has the egt temp probe and cord. Photobucket is down right now but as soon as its up ill post some pics
