Need to lower egts on 2001 F250!

2001 F250, 210,xxx miles,4.56 gears, new Jasper rear, 6 pos ts tony wild man tunes, violant intake, silverline exhaust. Stage 1 injectors

My truck reaches 1300 egt way to quick and has reached 1400s before because I wasn't paying attention when playing around town stopping it at red lights. I know intercooler would help alot but im looking for a cheaper route. The exhaust does have a muffler and I plan on taking that out soon. Idk if a boost leak would raise egts but my truck may have a boost leak so I'm going to check for that soon. Will a bigger Turbo Lower egts?

If that is all that's done to your truck , you need to look for some problems. Check your uppipes, if boots, shaft play in turbo and I'm sure others will chime in with other things. Why 4.56 gears, I assume large tires ?

a boost leak will make egts ridiculous. even a tiny tear in an intercooler boot will kill power and raise egts.

taking the muffler off wont change egts much.

with my setup now i barely hit 1200 degree egt 0-100 mph at WOT.

a bigger turbo would help but that doesnt sound like your issue.

intercooler wont help that much

Who's tuning? Is this a new problem or has this been going on a while? Did you make any changed before this started happening?

You also say in the opening post that you may have a boost leak?

The problem im having is trying to keep my egts low. Will WW2 lower egts much ? How much hp will a WW2 or bigger turbo add.

Sorry, it does say that. I must have skimmed over it.
Boost leaks first, as I think we all said in both threads already

We can't find any boost leaks. We cleaned the air filter. I might just order new boots anyways
