Shifting Issue with ts 6pos on automatic 7.3 *skips 4th gear*

So I had ts performance retune my chip to run on my 2001 automatic 7.3, and now I went ahead and installed it and the truck skips 4th gear completely...

With the chip on ANY tune, it will shift 1,2,3,and slam into 5th every time.

I took the chip out for the time being and the truck is back to driving perfectly fine, I am wondering if anyone has had any similar issues and what could possibly be wrong?

I've called ts performance and triple checked the info I gave them and according to them everything is supposed to be perfect.

Any ideas??

Thanks - Nate

You don't have 5 gears. So it is slamming into 4th locked.

^ yup
Have it retuned by one of many tuners listed in any of the " who tunes to run " threads. Will probably fix it right up. If you want the tranny to last , throw a valve body in it along with some different tuning and all the world should be right

Sold 01 350 6" on 37's and mild mods, 00 X 4" on 35's, 02 f350 4" 35's molded from fan to drive shaft, ridin the 03 with nose conversion with 125k and counting upwards slowly.
Never had CNC on any of it, never will.

It shifts 1 , 2 , 3 , TC locking feels like a shift , 4th I believe , most def a 4 speed though.
It feels like a shift , completely understandable as to thinking it has 5.
I've never run TS canned tunes , I've never read any stellar reports on them either.
Try Gearhead or Powerstruck , great customer service , good tuning , nice shifting.
