single shot injector question

hey guys. im going to start off by saying the longer ive been on this site, I feel I ask more ridiculously dumb questions. so I apologize right off the bat. anyways...I have a buddy who bought an 02 with swamps smaller single shot injectors and some other stuff done to it. he called me complaining that the thing just wasn't running right. after asking a bunch of questions I figured out that the guy he bought the truck from didn't have his chip reburned for the single shot injectors. so my buddy got it reburned and all is great I guess. he calls me with a "business opportunity". he wants to give me the injectors for a set of stock injectors. he claims they just don't make enough power or concern is...if the truck was run with split shot tuning and single shot injectors, the injectors are possibly damaged? I don't want to get them, slap them in with CORRECT tuning and find out that they are screwed up...any way to tell if they are? am I way out of line? im sure you guys would like to me lol

I think you will be fine...but I'd PM Golfer and ask away at him. He'll lead you right.

Running split shot tuning with singles will NOT harm the injectors.

Take his injectors and put a new set of o-rings on them and you'll be good to go
