7.3 shortblock suggestions

I'm looking into shortblock options. I'm looking at buying a 500 h.p. 01 f350. the owner used pmr rods, and one exited the block. ford discontinued new 7.3 shortblocks so looking for a good alternative to hold 500 h.p.

He needs a block too from the sounds of it.

If you want new. Blackwater is the name people like, I would avoid jasper if they are still around..

Otherwise look for a low mile pre01 to get a good forged bottom end. You can use the OBS block and heads, just swap everything else
