With the 4k in i don't mind the idle so much, but what I didn't like and why I put it on a switch was when you are cruising around town and at around 40 when it goes into OD the truck kind of bucks and jerks more than I like, I was worried it was hurting the tranny. The other thing is it is really good off the line but I think it reduces your top end.

With the 5.6 it seems like the throttle is almost to sensitive. It feathers way to easy if that makes any sence. I hope someone else knows what I mean.

Yeah I know what you mean. It raises the idle a bit which I think is part of it. I can idle through parking lots and im almost going to fast with it in. The other thing I've noticed with mine is that the throttle is a bit delayed. If you are in traffic and just try and move up a bit and hit the throttle, nothing happens right that second, but half a second later when you are off the throttle is when it reacts. I've also noticed it is harder to stop due to the higher idle.

YESSIR I am seeing trashed mileage! I took my resistor out. *crying face* It was getting too expensive for these tempuratures. I am unable to plug the rig in so it would idle, high idle 1,000rpm for roughly a half hour TOTAL over the course of the day (Leaving for school, leaving for work, leaving for home) Between that and the fact that resistors are tempurature sensitive... so when it was 20 degrees that resistor was NOT 5.6k ohms, it was lower, and as you know the lower resistor makes it dump more fuel. So not driving heavy footed I was getting 7-8mpgs. And I canNOT afford that. So I removed it until it gets warmer out. I don't miss the lope too too much, I miss my 26psi max boost compared to just 19. And I miss my 9 second 0-60 compared to 13 seconds. But I did it for mileage, maybe I can save up for somethin cool.
My girlfriend is upset I took it out... she said "but I like when it sounds like 'blub blub blub' it sounds so mean!" Lol!

But you're right it is a little harder to stop, and I found that it makes it alot harder to precision park with the snappy throttle. And towing a big camper is like nothing idleing along but the jerkjerkjerk of it gets real annoying real quick.

Oh and the lowest I heard of anyone using to use continually is like a 3.9k and that's for it to start every time n' all that.

I havent lost any throttle response. Mine is so quick it reving before I push down on the peadle. Just kidding, LOL. But it is quicker on mine!

I guess the way I said it was kind of weird. I have way better throttle response with it in. Seems like no tubo lag. What I have noticed is if you just real quick tap the throttle, very quickly push it maybe 1/4 inch and let off real quick, mine seems like when I do it that fast the truck may not move until my foot is off the pedal, because I hit it and let off so quick. Or sometimes it starts moving when my foot is still on but I can tell it is continuing to rev for half a second after my foot is off, just like it is delayed that tiny bit. But if I drive normal, not barely taping it and letting off real quick, you are right the response is way better.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I wondered the same thing, I was afraid my tranny was slipping but I don't think that's it. The throttle response is immensly better like just a tiny lil tap and it pops from 650-1500 in half a second. But it doesn't GO if you do it quick enough, right? I could be in overdrive putt-putting along and just rev it a hair for noise sake and it wouldn't buck on me. Is that what you're saying? If I'm making any more sense at all?

Do you think the 5.6k/10k would cause issues with a programmer?
