for you hangnut

heres the pics you asked for.the filter just takes about a four inch piece of four inch pipe to connect it. completly remove the filter box top half if i remember right, as in the picture. just leave the sensor lay there. it wont go far and you can see it in the pic. the zoodad mod is the one of the front of the truck. the two holes are it. ive seen some guys cut one big oval but i went with two holes. becareful thats fiberglass you gonna cut into. the little snorkel thing coming off the filter box is just behind that. and what your goin for is cold air goin in to that snorkel. the silver thing you see is a heat shield i made from some insulation lefter over from a camper remodel. its like aluminized bubble wrap and works for the most part. let me know if i need to be more detailed.

IT'S A BHAF (big honkin air filter for you strokers) http://www.dodgedieseldatabase.com/S...2Ftoppage2.htm Here's the link of an install on a dodge that has part numbers for the filter. On dodge's you just remove the airbox and put this in it's place with an outerwear and heat shield if you want.

thats not the right part # for a ford. the napa # for a ford is 546637. its a diffrent size. just give em (where ever you go) the part # and the can cross it over to thier #. they wont have a clue of what your tryin to do. typicaly. so dont try to explain to them what your lookin for. and, its what is called a d.i.y tymarin the psd world.
