Turbo Whistle

I'm curious, i did the foil delete, and have a straight pipe exhaust. I was wondering what i can do to make my turbo whistle more? Cause right now it sounds pretty good, but i want it to be louder

i have a strait 4" from the end of the down pipe back, will the tw tunes change the sound of the exhaust any, i hate the sound of the strait pipe cause i cant hear the engine.

I forgot to add, i was thinking about putting a ATS Housing on. What would that do?

hey1955, do you have the stock down pipe off the turbo, then addapted to a 4" straight pipe, also the different tunes change the tone of the engine a light

i cut the down pipe as soon as it was straight enough to adapt, and the rest is 4" back. i dont care about the exhaust sound changing to much with the tunes. but i dont want to change the afterknock (sound) of the engine, its the sweetest sound on earth

i know on my 99 since i put the straight on, i can't stand riding in a truck w/ a muffler

Do the WW and get rid of your hood insulation. That, along with you're foil delete are the only things you can do to make the whistle louder on a 7.3.

You are only going to hear it from the motor, you will never get a 7.3 to whistle out the exhaust like a 6.0 will.
