methonal injection???

Hi, im new to the site but not to the mechanical world. I have a 2001 PSD. I have some mods, but am interested in the snowperformance water/ methonal injection. I know that this type of system is used in the prostock and superstock pulling tractors in the NTPA. I curious if anyone has used this on their trucks. From what Ive read it's supossed to give the same power add as say propane or nitrous, around 70-100 horse, depending on where ive read. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Heres there site. http://www.snowperformance.net/prodd...p?prod=auto140

Welcome to the site Smokin. I've read a litte on that kit also, and sounds like we are in the same boat. I can't seem to find anybody who has on installed or knows of anyone with it. I've read that it does anywhere from 27 Hp all the way up to 100 Hp. Someone here will have some info.

Well I sell the kits and I also run this kit on my 2004 6.0L Powerstroke. I love the kit and I use this kit on my daily driver. Adds about 75hp on 7.3l and 6.0l. I currently run the stage 2 system with 220 psi pump and dual nozzles. It has a variable controller that I have set for start spraying at 18psi boost and full spray at 28 psi boost. And let me tell you its a fun ride. Also its cheap to operate I am currently 50/50 water/methanol or Tech 2000 -20 windshield washer solvent its a 50/50 mix and Snow Performance recommends it to use. These kits run about $569.00 and are worth every dollar. Any other questions PM me.
