E 99 7.3 upgrades

Hi I'm new to posting here so here it goes. I bought a early 99 7.3. With taxes returns I'm looking at doing a few mods and was wondering what's everybodys opinions on these.

1. I'm gonna go with a diamond eye 4" straight pipe.

2. Riff Raff 6637 intake.

3. Ts 6 position chip stock tuning.

4. 140v idm mod.

5. A front leveling kit

And any other cheap little mods to help the old girl out. And she only has 102,000 on her. Any suggestions?

I'm working on a really tight budget about 800. I've done lots of searching from performance sites to amazon and ebay. I can do it for that price but I was wondering if anybody has some tips on the ____ part is cheapest here type stuff.

I do plan on the more expensive stuff later HPOP, injectors, downpipes, turbo, and etc.

Thanks for looking.

I would do the hutch and harpoon mod. The ccv mod is nice also. You can search for them and find some nice how to write ups on them. These mods wont really gain you any performance but they are nice to do.

Good idea on the computer swap. I was also looking at the hutch and harpoon mod and thought wow I need that. Had to pull the bed off the day after I bought it because that stupid ring holding all that in was broke and didn't realize it until after dumping about 10 gallons of diesel in the ol' Valero diesel pump area and I don't ever want to have to do that again after installing my fifth wheel rails back in. And yes I was thinking of the ccv mod to. my intercooler boots are covered in oil after being spotless less then 10k ago.

Gauges are in the works to just trying to decide. I know I need them asap with mods

Justin,

I could have my numbers backward, but I believe the PCM the OP wants is the DPC-402. The DPC-422 is the E99 PCM.

That being said, your not going to find one for less than $2-300 used. Even a reman they are now $400+. Evidently the reman company has caught on to us.

Edit: lol. I even did the PCM swap. It is the DPC-422 the one you want. Reason being is the PMT1 software flash is what most tuners use and the shift transmission points are much smoother and even.
