DIY fooler set

I baught a air regulater. hooked it to my air compreser in line to a blow gun. Pulled triger of blow gun and adjusted psi to 20. when i let off triger the guage would read line presure. Pull triger it would only flow 20 psi. Then i took off blow gun and just let the air flow and my pre set 20 changed so now i know back presure can change the regulator. I tried a few times to make sure i did not bump nob. So here i am with a fooler i dont know how to calibrate it to work on my truck any sugestions would be great. and thank you in advance

From what you described, you calibrated it correctly for the line pressure. Set it up again and set the compressor regulator to only let 35psi through to the line and then set your regulator on the end of your blow gun to 20psi. That should be a little closer to the conditions your truck will throw at it.

Backpressure has nothing to do with what you are doing.
