Question Banks TechniCooler: Hot/Cold Side?

It's been 3 weeks now, testing out the Banks TechniCooler & now I'm in wonderment. With the TW in stock, the TC gets almost 30deg cooler EGTs. But in every other TW setting(lt. tow, daily, street, X), it seems I'm getting 10deg warmer than with the stocker. Is there a hot & cold side of this intercooler? The instruction manual doesn't make note if there is, so I assumed it didn't matter. The Banks logos are embossed vertically into the side tanks, so no matter which way you turn the cooler the logos wouldn't appear upside down. One thing I noticed today: it's been cooler here in RI. When I drove home from work today, I was shocked when I saw the EGTs were 22deg cooler in daily(850deg @ WOT), & 28deg cooler in street(1150deg @ WOT). Any advice?

I don't think it should matter... air travelling through it should still cool fine.

You should test it while towing. You should see more of a difference.. You should see alittle quicker spoolup too.

10-4 on the spool-up! I've definitely noticed a seat-of-the-pants difference! I'll be towing a welding trailer soon @ a lengthy distance, so I'll be able to monitor EGTs. It's not a really heavy trailer, but it's the most towing my rig will see. Thanks for the advice!
