Water/meth Injection Install

I put in a coolingmist stage 2 water/meth injection kit today. I didn't really know where to install the two injectors so I put them in the passanger side IC tube. Is this okay? When I drilled it and tapped it it seem's like its thick enough. I couldn't find anything threads with pics of how to see where to put the 2 injectors. I floored the truck and kept it held till about 85 or so and my boost was at 31 psi and egts at just a lil over 1200 on straight water. Heres a pic of how I where I put them in. Let me know if I should change this. Should I move them somewhere's else? Click this link to see the picture.

You're ok. I would have put one a bit further up.

You should weld bungs onto the intercooler pipes. The tubes are not thick enough to tap.

The location looks good. But I would have taken the one to the passenger side a little closer to the head.

How much pressure runs through the IC pipes?

What ever your boost is is what pressure is there...

Thats what I was thinking. I dont think theres no way they will blow out. The pipe was kinda thin but I think it should hold in there. Im barely boosting in the low 30's.

If it doesn't seal good you will have a boost leak there. Might not make much of a difference though...

I have had my pressure switch come off. So I welded bungs in. I would recommend you do it so it doesnt come loose while towing or something. You can still drive, but it doesnt build as much boost or power. PS, please tell me you removed the pipe to drill the holes....

seriously. thats the first thing I was wonderring. also- does wat/meth make a big difference for hi egts while tune is up on TW chip?

straight distilled water is good for about 200-300 egts for me at wot. With the methanol about 50-100 less. I use it when towing tho, not for around town driving and such.
