Another Hydra post... LOL

Just another post about the Hydra chip!!! If you have a 7.3, and want one of the best pieces of hardware to come out for these trucks in 5-8 years, this is it...

Just loaded two more tunes from PowerStruck this afternoon... That makes 10 tunes, loaded without removing the chip, without having to ship it, burn it or even touch it. Takes seconds to load them...

If your looking for a new chip, give this a good hard look.

I've owned my 2002 PSD for a long time but new on this forum. I just purchased the 6 position switch, and saw the Hydra. I ordered the Hydra yesterday and will return the 6 position switch. I have a gauge package ordered, and now I just need to find someone local to install it. I can handle the Hydra install myself. I would do the gauges, but just don't have time.

First impressions of the new tunes Joe ? Just shipped my "spare" one out to Justin to get redone. Still running my GH so he has lots to live up to to comparatively , but it will be nice to have a backup with useable tuning.

Sold 01 350 6" on 37's and mild mods, 00 X 4" on 35's, 02 f350 4" 35's modded from fan to drive shaft, ridin the 03 with nose conversion with 125k and counting upwards slowly.
Never had CNC's poo on any of it, never will.

The daily tune he sent me is one of the quietest at idle I have ever run... The hot tune was pretty smoke free... Only have about 20 miles of traffic and on base driving so...

Quiet ? Mines pretty quiet already , comparatively so to a new 6.7 or so it seems to me. Every now and then i forget to my ear plugs in and its noisy as hell tho !!!
Cool , keep me informed , i guessing a wekk and a half before i see mine back . its pretty decent on the GH tho.

I placed my order using the online order form as instructed Monday. I have not heard anything back, no email yet. It's only been 24 hours so no worries. There is no indication on the web site or their forum that they are back-ordered.

2002 F-250 199K crew cab 2x2, auto, PHP Hydra, Isspro, and intake.

When i ordered a 6 pos phoenix from php the called and said the chip manufacturer had them backprdered for like 6 months. So they cut me a deal on the hydra! In the end im glad i got the hydra instead of the phoenix. I would pay full price for it over the phoenix if i had to do it over but the discount was nice haha
I ordered back in late nov fyi
