Banks Six Gun and Big Hoss

Has anyone run the Six Gun, Big Hoss, or both stacked together in their 7.3??? I was wondering what kind of power these chips were putting out and any info would be great.

I had the Big Hoss & Six-Gun stacked together. The Big Hoss is the heart of the operation where as the Six-Gun is only good for 62hp. The Big Hoss is good for an extra 85hp & the Six-Gun adds a percentage of 62hp from L2 to L6(w/ L6 being 100% of 62). L1 is your 'stock' setting, but you'll still have the 85 extra HP with the Big Hoss module. All the Six-Gun really is, is a 10k mod. On top of all of this, if you want to improve shifts, the Big Hoss doesn't have trans. tunes. You'll have to spend more money & buy the Banks TransCommand for that. The TC install is easy...up until you have to pull wires #1, 11, & 12 & repin them into a Banks harness that plugs into the TransCommand. I don't know what kind of power you're looking for, but the Big Hoss/Six-Gun combo is as conservative as it gets. The set up is nice, but there is certainly bigger & better out there, with built-in trans. tunes.

not trying to change the subject but if your wanting the best tunes in my opion is anything thats custom tunes..thats just my .02

He has an Edge Evolution programmer. The Banks equip would be a 'downgrade'. +1 for something with custom tunes!

I didnt realize my Edge gave me more than tha Banks, I guess I'm going to stay away from any Banks stuff then and just get the DP Tuner like a planned on before

Banks' tuners, chips, & modules are all 'cookie cutter' burns. Meaning everything is ALL the same. With custom tunes, your chips are custom tailored to your rig's mods & will give you much better gains. Banks non-tuning equipment is the only thing I like about them. I've got an upgraded wastegate act., compressor wheel, & exhaust & they work excellent! The DP tuner is a great choice for upgrading. I've heard many people give good remarks about it.

I already have the Banks 6-gun on my truck and I bought an Edge Evolution. I am wondering can I run the evolution and use the banks 6 gun as well? Is there anything wrong with this if it will work?
