walbro pump,sump and prepump filter

I have the driven diesel prepump filter setup. its a water/air separation,harpoon mod. im currently running a walbro pump. Id like to set up a sump,running it to the filter system then the pump.

would this work? is there any issues that would pop up using this method?

2000 7.3 ccsb BTS 4r100,frx,coolant filter,custom intake,mbrp turbo back,Php FU,walbro 392,hi flow outlet,turbo master
Pro comp 6.5,bilstein 5160 front/rear,pro comp ladder bars,moto metals/37" hankooks.

Why do you want to run a sump?

Beyond that... I would keep a spare fuel pump on hand running that Walbro. Went thru 6 of them before I went back to a Bosch pump.

Before you talk a hole saw to the bottom of your tank... Wait a little longer.

guess I'm lucky. Same walbro for 70k. Now it will die since I bragged. I've got a fuel lab from a Subaru build thst make take its place.same model strictly/xdp ext sells
The reason for the sump is that last little bit of fuel and maybe the diesel thieves will cut the line instead of a hole in my tank. I'm on my thrice

Yah. I put a locking cap,cut line. Made a better skid and they drummer
