Pictures of my truck during headstuds

Thought Id share some pictures of the head stud install.

I only got to work on it for about 3 hours tonight, and I was by myself (for most of the time) so removing the hood proved to be a PIA

I dont have pictures but I got all the injectors out. So tomarrow is just going to be painting a few things while they are out, replacing some orings, and doing the studs, and hopefully puting it all back together

I would much rather do work on a 7.3 than a 6.0 anyday. I just got done putting new injectors in a 6.0 I don't want to do that again.

You can just pull the head bolt and put in the stud, just got to make sure you do one at a time and torque them right

Is that a 7.3 of a 6.0?

thought the 7.3's had better studs in them

7.3 don't have studs, they use bolts. We just have a few more than the 6.0.

Now the fun part begins. The rear studs and torquing them at an angle that is hell on the body.....Oh how I remember it well.
