stock turbo longevity ?

I just recently got rid of the ebpv valve and now im consistently hitting 35 psi on stock injectors with low egts.

i want to make the switch to 160/30's here soon.

if im already at 35 psi, will the stock turbo last very long with stage 1's?

if i have to i will request the tuner keep it below 40 psi, which is still a lot on the stock turbo.

thanks guys

Its less about boost and more about the boost/backpressure ratio...

Get a back pressure gauge, if your seeing 50-60psi back pressure to 30psi boost it wont last long, if your seeing 30psi with 40-50 psi back pressure then it will last longer. Its the side loading on the bushings that kills them...

I run 55psi boost to 60-65psi drive pressure on my H2e... It stays 1 to 1 up to about 40 psi.

Send a message via AIM to PSD POWER007
With the WW2 on my stocker, I hit 33psi with about 38-40lbs of back pressure according to my Insight.
