I've got a good set. Or at least they were good when they were taken out. They still got the pistons hanging on them. I would have them checked out before I ran them just to be 100% sure but they should be good to go if you are interested in them.

Exclamation

How much stronger are aftermarket forged rods than stock forged rods from an earlier years? I am wondering if I could get stock ones from an earlier year and use these instead of blowing a ton of $$ on aftermarkets?

As far as I've heard all the aftermarket rods are billit. Not forged. They are quite a bit stronger but it depends on what you goals are. The stock forged rods should be good up to at least 500hp depending on tuneing.

There are aftermarket forged rods available from Hypermax.

Tuning and other things all play into the engine life.

I would call up David at DI Performance. They almost always have them in stock.
