Tuner/chip help

Hey everyone, I have a 99 7.3 f250. it has 216xxx miles on it, It has an edge programmer on it that came on the truck when I bought it almost 3 years ago. The guy I bought it from told me that the programmer was good for 60hp but not sure, I haven't looked into it much. I also did a 4 inch straight pipe and a DIY air intake. I want to give it a little more power but I don't want to do anything to crazy to the motor and lose my reliability. I recently got new wheels and tires and decided to put 35 inch tires on it and its a little to slow for me.

Im wanting to remove the edge programmer and install a TS Performance 6 position chip, the tunes are 1) stock 2) high idle 3) 50hp 4) 75hp 5) 100hp 6) 140hp. I would mainly use the 75hp or 100hp tunes. I read a lot of reviews about this chip and everyone was very satisfied with how it performed. the reviews said the only downfall about it is with the 140hp tune it seemed to shift very hard. Does anybody recommend this chip?

I will also install exhaust temp, trans temp, and boost gauges if I end up installing the chip. Please give me any input you guys have. Thanks for the help!

I used to have the edge as well before I switched to the 6-pos and the difference is night and day. I still run the canned tunes (which I like) but i would recommend custom tunes from someone like PHP, No Limit Tuning, Tony Wildman, etc.

2000 PSD, 4in Exhaust, 6637 Intake, Zoodad, TS Canned Tunes, JWVB, Billet Wheel, FRx
