Sniper tunning?

I want to learn more about it? is this kind of the same deal thats other places use to burn custom chips?

Is it better then a custom chip if you can work it correctly?

What is the cost of it?

I use it. It serves my needs. It was just an add on for me because I tune my turbocharged 01 Lightning with this software. There special forces software is like getting a canned tune on any software device.

white01, just wondering about your sig. The Lightning's 2.04 60ft., could that be dropped even lower. I dont know much about Lightnings but I know of several diesels on here that have sub 2 sec 60ft times and weigh a ton more. I understand that they can 4x4 boost launch and get good traction. Once again not bashing that time, just wondering about it.

Yes it can. Many fellow Lightning members have run low 60 ft. time like 1.28 to 2.40. That time was from the first time out at the track after having done the first tune. I don't have much seat time with the truck yet. The turbo combo is really new. I'm still used to the blower set up with was easy to launch. I really need to update my sig because the truck currently makes 700HP and 721 TQ. I'm currently tearing it down to correct some exhaust leaks and fab up a new 4" down pipe. Probably will not hit the track till spring By then I should have a 2 step to help with the launch.

Gotcha, it had me wondering. That sounds like a pretty bad truck. Post some pictures up Im sure everyone on here would love to see it.

so the question is, if one can work it, can it be better then custom tunning like a tw chip or DP

I believe if you want to go to the depths of their tuning you have to get the Delta Force and Commando. I was talking to a local diesel perf shop and they say they use this program to open up all the fuel maps and what not.
