its possable with somthing flat like that you could have either missed some of the contacts or filed some too much

Did you run you fingers across the contacts when you were done??

Did it feel like you got all the film of it??

Im thinking thats the problem. Ive got a buddy on the way back from wally world with a brillo pad. Man I hope this works. If I have filed it to much it just wouldnt seat properly and would be loose so could i put a piece of elec tape on it? Also could I have pushed it on there a little to far?

Just be carefull with the brillo as to not take off too much.

I doubt you pushed it on too far.

you can use electrical tape to hold it on

Not all of the silver "fingers" were clean. Could this be it?
