There are pics somewhere around the internet. That was Cale that did that. I have it on good authority that the block was already cracked when he split the block. As far as the original question, good luck on blowing the head gaskets. You can go above 40psi without too many issues, but it all depends on your tuning. It isn't the boost psi (per se) that that will give you issues, it's timing and cylinder pressures that cause the most problems. My vote? You'll window the block from a busted rod before you lose a head gasket. Or chew up a piston or two... |
