A must do mod in my opinion, get the air out of the fuel system - injectors will thank you in the long run. Quiets down the engine cackle quite a bit. ITP make a great kit for this mod.

01excursion7.3 - yep, the kit is for the excursion also.

Never had a problem with the harpoon mod, I used a pair of PVC ratched cutters I bought from Lowes or Home Depot the ones shown on Guzzles website. Worked great, the tank quicker all the way full. Now it takes about 120 miles for the needle to come off "E" on my fuel gauge.
