Turbo Whistle

I went into work yesterday and parked my truck behind the building as always..from BEHIND the building i hear what sounds like a 747 Jet engine in the parking lot..i hurry around and see what i'd guess was a 99 or 00 F-250. I couldnt even hear anything BUT whistle coming out of the exhaust. Im wondering how to make my truck whistle like that. Ill be buying an ATS Housing AFE Stage 2 and my exhasut will be straight piped. How loud of a whistle will i have with that? Anything else i can do for more whistle? Sorry for such the long post..

it will be pretty loud. a 6.0 really whistles!!

sure it wasnt a 03 stroke with the 6.0 cause the 03 turbos whistle very loud

i bet it was. a 7.3 isnt even comparable to a 6.0 whistle!!

maybe it was 6.0, i didnt get a very good look at the truck..just caught a glimpse as he was pullin out. All i know is i want my truck to whistle like that!

Yeah the 6.0 whistle is by far the best. I do like the turbo whistle of my 7.3 at around 1000-1200 RPM though, spools up a little and sounds awesome.

my 7.3 whistles good around 1100 RPM's i want to ditch my muffler and see how much a difference it makes. i love it loud

I was thinking about doing the foil delete to increase the 'whistle' of my 7.3, is it worth the hassle?
