Mpg gains with aftermarket exhaust

Hey guys,

I'm looking at upgrading my exhaust to a 4" straight pipe soon. Can I expect any mpg gains from this, and if so, how much?

Thanks!

Probably not, you'll like the sound so much you'll "put your foot in it" more

I don't believe there are gains to be had from just an exhaust anyways.
If you were replacing a super restrictive system maybe there would be some gain, but we don't even have a cat to cut out in most 7.3's

PIS 175/80's, Van Turbo with EBPV, BD Billet Wheel
Lots of money spent at RiffRaff
Holley fuel pump, in tank mods, crappy riding leveling kit, DP-F6, 5 Gauges+Edge CS in dash, CB radio in Dash, over 100 goofy little mods
Still pretty slow, just less slow now.

I like to think there is just to justify spending the money, but in reality it probably hurt mine cause I like how my turbo sounds.
