Question Edge with DP

We've got an '02 that has an edge juice with attitude and it s a dog. I was wondering if it would be possible to put a Dp tuner on it and keep the edge on there just for the gauges. I was thinking we could keep the edge set on zero(stock) and use the DP for the power. I've read on here that you don't want to stack chips on powerstrokes but if this would work we wouldn't have to invest in a new set of gauges. Let me know what you guys think. I would appreciate it!

Absolutely. We have several customers that do this.

The only problem is: with the DP Tuner, you'll need an ITP Overboost Annihilator or some other sort of boost fooler to prevent defueling. With the ITP Ovrbst Ann, the Edge Juice w/ Attitude will only read 17psi on your boost readout, because it reads off the MAP sensor. You'll be pushing much more than that with the DP. Your best bet is to get your hands on some mechanical gauges.

Analog gauges will give true readings, definately. EGT's being the most important. If he has a probe for EGT's then I would say he's fine. With Jody's new codes tunes he won't need to do an OB kit. Jody takes care of the defueling also.
