Question 99.5 Setup Advice

Hey Guys - Newbie here. I just bought a 1999.5 F250 CC LWB 4x4 7.3 87k with ZF6 and am looking to mod it up (keeping bottom end stock though at this point) to be a fun daily driver and potent tow machine - trying to unleash potential up to safe limit of bottom end. I'm considering either staying with stock setup turbo mount w/38R 'n Wicked Wheel 2 and 238/100 injectors (seems like they've gotten some pretty good results from it - ref. Wicked Wheel G2 for 38R Test Results) or going to a Full T4 setup with S468 or GTX4294R with 300/200 injectors....truck would mainly be a daily driver and Toy, but I could occasionally tow up to 16k...maybe go to the track a time or so for the heck of it (I know ZF6 isn't going to be a speed demon).
I've estimated the cost between the 38R setup and S468/GTX4294R and come up with $8k vs. $13k/$14.5k...I'm trying to assess the difference in seat of the pants feel, MPG potential on economy tune,...other in order to substantiate stock turbo mount or T4 configuration decision.

Other mod's truck will have in reg return fuel system, aftermarket lift pump, S&B intake 5" Hypermax Exhaust, 910 valve springs, Smith Bro's or Hamilton cam Pushrods....TS-6 with custom tunes.

I'd love to hear from you guys that have experience with both setups. Thanks a bunch.

a truck with 300/200's isnt going to be a very streetable or towing machine.

just stick with a 160cc single shot or maybe a little larger 160/80 or smaller hybrid like 200/30's.

a 38r with ww2 would run these just fine. or contact no limit tuning they offer a brute66 turbo which outflows the 38r and is rebuildable, and its cheaper!

a built trans is going to be necessary if you want it be reliable at higher hp.

My set up in my Sig cost me about $13k long block and all (minus the BTS and tranny cooler, that came after I smoked my other tranny!). An absolutely awesome daily driver! A blast to run around in! And will melt the tires at about 25-30mph. I really do live my set up and I drive it to work every day, 45 mile round trip.

Seth14, what kind of highway mpg can you get out of your setup with the 238/100's and 38r?
