Custom tunes are more or less relevant to how you use your truck, driving habits and if you ever upgrade your turbo, injectors, HPOP or Tranny you will have to get custom tunes to get the max performance out of those units.
Also, Custom tuners have the ability to adjust your shift points so if you dont like the shift points your TS chip has now you can not just call up the tuner and have it changed.
