Angry ITP Ovrbst Ann. & People Who Hafta Touch Stuff

Everytime I open the hood with friends around, it seems the 1st thing they do is zero in on the ITP knob & want to play with it. Each time this has happened, I've had a coniption before they can even pull the knob. Luckily, no one has turned the knob & screwed up the 22psi setting. But enough is enough! I'm just wondering if there's a way I can lock the knob, so all my friends THAT JUST HAVE TO TOUCH THINGS LIKE LITTLE KIDS won't lose the ITP settings. I know it sounds crazy, but I'm sure there's plenty of other people on the forum that have the same problem(with the same type of friends). Thanks!

I wouldn't do that. But I would break someones fingers.

Maybe put some masking tape around it?

If they were to turn it they would only turn it a bit. Just use a white paint marker and mark where it is at. Done deal.

Wire it to a capacitor. No one will touch it again.

I like these ideas! I didn't really want to 'get into' modifying the knob & these sound like the simplest ways to do it!

If you're throwing a light and you have an ITP kit, the light isn't from an overboost code.
