Cost vs benifit...

Buying a DP chip is not really buying it. You dont own it, your only renting it from DP tuner.

You cant put anyone elses tunes on it, you cant easily transfer from one truck to another, and there not worth much once you have decided you dont want it anymore.

I strongly urge you to check out the PHP Hydra chip. Its 10 times the platform the DP chip is...

And unless you have the same PCM code as what the chip is already set up for, be prepared to spend another 200$ on top of buying the chip.

I'm currently trying to sell my DP chip... Not easy

All good tunes are Done by PCM code, but I am not sure what it would take to set the hydra up for a different code as mine isn't here yet

You can load what ever PCM code you want on the Hydra. You could have several PMT tunes, Several NVK tunes and even NMM tunes. It just doesnt matter.

You dont need to have 17 tunes on it, it just gives you options. I have 8 on mine right now with tunes from 6 different vendors.

PHP has a server for there tunes, you can pick and chose from any of there tunes for your truck.

Or you can have other vendors or "tuners" email you tunes which you can then load onto your Hydra chip.
