I have a TS 6 position flip chip, it's a solid investment for the money. I have no complaints about it what so ever. I get 22 mpg on the highway in my 02 excursion, running 35 inch tires ( 315/75/16 Hankook Dyna Pro Mud Terrains excellent E load range mud tire! ) I had the banks 6 gun, and the TS chip beats it in power and price by a long shot.

That being said,

I just test drove another truck with fewer mods than me, and the biggest difference was it has a DP chip in it. WOW.....YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.....the difference was huge, I liked it so much , I'll sell you my TS so I can get a DP. The truck with the DP tuner got 24 MPG on the highway, and would boil 38 x12.5 inch wide tires from a 10 MPH roll. The truck got sideways at will. That Particular truck had stock exhaust with the little skinny down pipe, and cold air intake, and a transmission that slipped badly , oh and 298 thousand miles on the clock......it made me sick.....That's just my opinion, but I own the TS and am looking forward to getting the DP tuner, or, sending the TS to Jody to let him put tunes on it. Plus I pull a 12k pound trailer to work all over the south ( drilling oilwells) and Jody has high altitude pulling tunes, which would be great for my trips to New Mexico and Montana.

Not to dis credit you at all, but your mileage quotes are right on with what my overhead display says with my DP on 120, 4inch turbo back exhaust, wicked wheel, aih delete, high pressure crossover, TC lock up control, and a few other small mods. Whwn checked by the pencil/paper method the actual numbers are closer to 16-18 hiway. AND with only 90k miles on my truck and only 32 inch tires on stock rims, I cant boil them from a dead stop, much less a ten mph roll and I am running a BUILT tranny with transgo tugger and BD power billet converter.

I will have to agree with Sea71 on this one. There is noway a truck with those size tires is getting 22-24 MPG. If you are going by the overhead, then that mileage is wrong. But if u are hand calculating it, then i wanna know what else u have done to that truck to get that mileage. If that mileage is true, than good for your friend. But i dont believe it. Dave Whitmer has a Super Duty that is getting 26 mpg and he had to go to smaller tires, changed his gearing to 3.08, etc etc. With a truck to sit as high as you described with those tires, im sorry, but that mileage cant be correct.

Odd....I've got a wicked wheel, an intake,4" straight exhaust from turbo back, T/C , TS performance 6 pos flip chip, and I could spin my old BFG 33's on 10" inch M/T classics pretty easily. I can spin the new 35" M/T's but they bounce up and down pretty bad.

I was using the overhead display, so the mileage is suspect. I don't know the former owner of the truck, I never said it was a friends. I test drove it at McRee ford in Dickinson Tx. I'm not disputing the mileage , I only drove it for an hour or so. When I realized how well it ran I started looking at the mods. It may have had more than what I found But it made a pretty good impression, I went back to drive it again after the tranny was rebuilt and it was allready sold.

It may have had huge injectors, or some other mods that I could not see, but I was just trying to point out that in my opinion, after having driven with both chips I was very impressed by Jody's programs. I know the F350 is lighter than my Excursion, but this was a huge difference. My truck used to run pretty well I thought. After the test drive I felt some what lacking on the way home in the Excursion.......

Yea i love Jody's tunes myself and will be upgrading in the near future. Guys just have to realize u cant go by the overhead, it is NEVER accurate. I remember when i was getting 12 MPG hand calculated(16 mpg from the overhead). I have done a few more things recently and now i am geting 15-16 mpg hand calculated.
