I agree on taping the chip, or do something like I did, Rivet the small hasp right there, Take some small rubber pieces like this, (Maybe from a hardware or a hobby/craft store?) Then use zip tie to secure it snuggly. See how the bumpers push against the chip? It is NOT GOING anywhere now. Before I did this I had my chip taped in, but it's hard to tape it IN the black case with the hole like it is, I actually had my chip come loose and fall out WHILE DRIVING! The truck stumbled badly, then kept driving, I was towing three cars on my wedge, and noticed immediately that there was a lack of power, no smoke, ect... Pulled over and looked down under the dash, saw my chip hanging by the wire, MAN, HOW it didn't trash my PCM I do NOT KNOW. But I sat there Thanking GOD it didn't when I saw it. Cause I would have been stranded with a load of autos on my trailer!
