6.0 Intercooler, trans cooler & Wicked Wheel install ?'s

I just got a 6.0 intercooler for my 02. While doing some reading i see that I need to get new IC hoses, i read the article here and the site they suggest doesnt show them on their site. Where can i get them at?

Also during my reading i read that i have to move/modify my trans cooler, well im thinking about adding a bigger cooler, i saw this on ebay and was thinking about getting something like this, eBay Motors: RV SUV HAYDEN HEAVY DUTY TRANSMISSION COOLER NEW! (item 220273437324 end time Sep-01-08 12:47:19 PDT) what is the public opinion on this.

Also bout the same time ill be doing the wicked wheel install, most likely be pulling the turbo out to do so. Is there any other parts that ill need, anything else i can modify at the same time while i got torn out.

I don't know about that trans cooler... I would just go with a 6.0 one if you can find it.

if your pulling the turbo you can do:
1.aih delete
2.ebpv delete
3.ccv mod
4.foil delete

all these mods are simple to do and dont take long to do.

...hayden good, 6.0 cooler better

that being said, i ended up throwing a NAPA cooler which is actually a hayden product...

...in my bumper for 60 clams and it did exactly what i needed, its a temporary fix as we were to drag the RV 1200 miles thru the mountains/desert and back in the heat of the summer.

my intent was (and still is) to add a 6.0 cooler, but i kept getting outbid on 6.0's on stEalBAY...so i resorted to the backup plan...

...it actually worked out quite well. going thru the desert outside temps were ~110 and tranny temp never broke 200 but for one slight excursion to about 212 pulling up the steepest of grades between sacramento and boise and an altitude of about 7,000 feet.

as a reference (prior to the hayden cooler) we had pulled same RV to an altitude of about 2,000 feet a month prior; 20 degrees cooler outside and 5,000 feet lower but the temps were maxing out the guage in the 225 and climbing swiftly to the 250 mark when we finally pulled over to let her cool off

...as for the intercooler, you can do the NAPA version or the dieselpower version.

napa requires part number 1701 and 1740

or spend 48 clams (plus shipping) and these...
